Taking a 6 hour flight across the country gave me plenty of time to think about what topics to cover in upcoming blog posts. I was surprised with how many topics I was able to list in just a short amount of time. After looking through the list of ideas I jotted down I noticed a bit of a trend. Most of the topics were related to various shop upgrades.
Although my shop is setup enough to allow me to complete various projects around the house it needs lots of work to better allow me to be efficient with my time. I do admit I am pretty particular about being organized, mostly because I have a horrible memory and it helps eliminate the stress of loosing anything and everything. Lisa (my wife) likes to tell me I have a touch of OCD. I can’t completely disagree with her. For that very reason I find spending time in my messy congested shop much more stressful than enjoyable. Of course I want to get all shop organization projects completed at the same time, but with the normal hustle and bustle of life it is only realistic to tackle them one at a time between the “honey do list” projects. Considering the fact that woodworking is not my full time job, my shop time is mostly restricted to nights and weekends… or simply any time my daughter is not awake.
With so many article ideas and/or projects to cover I am not sure where to start. I am extremely open to suggestions and feedback. I truly hope anyone reading this is willing to give me their thoughts. I am currently working on a few projects I plan to post about, however after those projects are completed, I need some help. I would like to know what people are interested in hearing about in upcoming video and/or blog articles.
If you have extra time please let me know what you’d like to hear about. If you have an idea for a topic not listed I’d love to hear it. Either send me a message, comment below or on Facebook or select any of ideas I listed below.
